We value your time! And I hope you will value ours and other patients’. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your or your child’s appointment time, you will need to reschedule and your visit will be counted as a missed appointment.
We kindly ask that patients give us 24-hour notice for appointment cancellations. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee billed to your account. This allows us time to reschedule other patients in need of urgent appointments.
Please call your pharmacy first to determine if they can dispense a refill without our authorization. Otherwise, refill requests can be made by phone during regular business hours or submitted via an electronic message to the nurses through your patient portal account. Please allow two days for refill to be authorized by the doctor and submitted to the pharmacy. If it has been more than 12 months since your last visit and would like a refill, we ask that you please call and schedule a follow-up visit.
CALLING (OR TEXTING) AFTER HOURS
Please be mindful that the main office number goes straight to my personal cellphone. The ideal time for questions or concerns is during office hours. My office hours are modified compared to other practices, so the next best time is during normal business hours, even if the office isn’t technically “open” at that time. If you have an urgent issue I will do my best to see you the next clinic day. Sometimes I may be completely off the grid and unavailable. In that case, I will have another physician covering for me. There will be a message on the main number letting you know how to reach her/him.
